Where is Vieques?
Vieques part of the four island Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. It is necessary to take a short flight or the ferry to “La Isla Nena” as we affectionately call Vieques. It is not possible to drive to Vieques from San Juan International Airport.
Transportation to Vieques
San Juan International Airport: The easiest way to get to Vieques is to fly from SJU to VQS. It is a scenic 30-minute flight. You can fly on Cape Air https://www.capeair.com/#/availability or Vieques Airlink http://www.viequesairlink.com This is the most expensive option but is often the most stress free. Make sure to leave plenty of time for connections.
Isla Grande Airport: This is a local’s tip! A quick 15-minute taxi ride (Approx. $20) from San Juan International Airport. This is a small regional airport. 30-minute flight. You can fly on Vieques Airlink http://www.viequesairlink.com.
Ceiba Airport: This small regional airport is located 1 ¼ hour drive from San Juan International without traffic. With traffic it can take up to 2 hours. This is a great option if you are overnighting on the main island before flying to Vieques. It is a quick 10-minute flight with spectacular views. Vieques Airlink http://www.viequesairlink.com.
The Ferry: The ferry is $2.50 dollars for passengers and a little extra for luggage. It is located about 1 hour and 45 minutes from San Juan. This is cheap and it is very unreliable. Do not take the chance of missing valuable vacation time. If you must take the ferry, please make sure you arrive 2 hours in advance of departure to purchase tickets. Please note that it is nearly impossible to secure a reservation for a car or jeep on the cargo ferry. The schedule which can change without notice is available at www.puertoricoferry.com
Should I rent a Jeep, Car or Golf Cart?
Yes. Some of the loveliest parts of Vieques are in remote locations and there is nothing better than exploring when you are on holiday. We recommend booking before you arrive as sometimes there is extremely limited availability. Please contact us for our recommendations.
Does San Pascual de Ceboruco Provide Airport Transfers?
No. It is a quick 15-minute trip by taxi from the Airport to San Pascual de Ceboruco. Please let us know your arrival and departure times at the time of booking and we will arrange the Taxi service for you. The cost is about $20.00 each way.
How far is the Beach?
Closest beaches are a 10-minute drive.
How far are restaurants and bars?
Tin Box is the closest restaurant. It is about a six minute drive. The village of Esperanza is a ten minute drive and there are many dining options available on the Malecon. We recommend El Quenepo!
Do you have Air-conditioning?
Yes. Each room has its own air-conditioning unit (with the exception of the Snoring Room at Casita Granada). If you prefer fresh air the windows and doors have operable louvers and screens.
Do you allow pets?
Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate pet guests. Our resident Chocolate Labradors will be happy to provide you with furry attention when you visit.
What time is Check-in and Check-out?
Regular check-in is from 3:00- 7:00 pm.
Late check-in is from 7:00- 9:00 pm with a $100.00 fee and must be scheduled 24 hours in advance.
Check-out is at 10:00 am.
Due to current Covid-19 restrictions we are unable to provide early, check-in, late check-out or baggage storage.
Is breakfast included?
No but Finca Victoria is right next door and they have a fabulous vegan breakfast from 9:30 am- 11:00 am. $15.00 and reservations are required.
Do you allow children?
We are unable to welcome guests under 18 years of age.
What about coffee?
A French press, Puerto Rican coffee beans, a coffee grinder and a drip coffee maker are available in your Casita.
Is smoking allowed?
Yes, in designated areas on the outdoor terrace. We never allow smoking of any kind in our guestrooms. A $250 fee smoking fee applies.
Do you provide beach chairs, beach towels and coolers?
Yes. We provide them for your enjoyment.
San Pascual de Ceboruco booking policy
Full refund for cancellations made within 24 hours of booking if the check-in date is at least 14
days away. If the booking is cancelled more than 30 days before arrival, then a charge equal to
50% of the stay will be made. If the booking is cancelled less than 30 days before arrival, then a
charge equal to the full booking amount will be made. In the event of a no show or booking
reduction (after arrival date) the full cost of the booking is charged. We highly recommend
purchasing travel insurance.
Please note: If you made your booking through a third-party booking agent (ex. AirBnb,
Booking.com, etc.) you must contact them to cancel the reservation and their cancellation rules
apply. Cancellation policies may be different on third party booking sites vs. booking directly.

House Policies:
Casita Granada sleeps a maximum of three guests.
We are unable to welcome guests under the age of 18.
We are unable to accept pets but have one Chocolate Labrador who lives on the property and provide
lots of love if you miss your fur children.
